Did you create a license and add the SyncID Key to the description of your video, or link your YouTube channel to your Musicbed account, and yet you still see a claim that has not yet cleared?
In order for our system to be able to recognize a claim as soon as it appears, you will need to upload your video as either Public or Unlisted. Uploading a video as Private or with a delayed Premiere date/time will block SyncID™ from being able to scan for a claim until after the video is published. And even then, it can cause delays in the clearing process for up to 24 hours from the time it is published. The same rule applies to live videos. Any live video with our music in it will receive a claim and SyncID™ won’t be able to scan and clear it until after the live stream ends and the video has been published for about 24 hours.
It is also very important that you do not dispute any claims you see on the music that you’ve licensed from us. The dispute process will block SyncID™ from being able to access and clear your claim while it is sent to the artist/copyright holder to review. Instead, if you see a claim that doesn’t clear within a couple of hours of uploading your video, please reach out to us with a link to the video and a screenshot of the claim that shows the claimant and song info and we can look into it for you.
