To get started, you’ll need to have an active Spotify account as well as an active Musicbed account. Once you've created both free accounts, you can opt to follow our curated playlists from your Musicbed account so they can be accessed from your Spotify account and vice versa.
Go to your account settings from the menu in the top left-hand corner. Select “Integrations” and then select “Log in to Spotify.” Enter your Spotify login, then read and accept integration terms, and you're all set!
Once you've linked your accounts, you can unlink them at any time from the same location or in your Spotify account settings (https://www.spotify.com/us/account/apps/). How do I follow playlists on Spotify and Musicbed after I've linked my accounts?
From Musicbed:
After linking your account, find the playlist you’d like to follow on the Playlist page. Click the “Follow on Spotify” link on the left-hand side of the Playlist page and you're all set. You'll be able to see the followed playlist in your list of playlists from within your Spotify account.
You can also unfollow the playlist by selecting “Following on Spotify” and you'll see the verbiage change back to "Follow on Spotify."
From Spotify:
After linking your account, find the playlist you'd like to follow. Click the "Follow" button on Spotify. When you open your Musicbed account and find the playlist of the same name, you'll see that you are "Following on Spotify" on the left-hand side of the Playlist page.
You can also unfollow the playlist by selecting “Following" on Spotify and you'll see the verbiage change back to "Follow on Spotify" on your Musicbed account.
